Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
This policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you use askjullian.com.
1. Who I am
This website, askjullian.com, is operated by Jullian Agostinho (“I”, “me”), an individual based in the United Kingdom. I am the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact me at hello@askjullian.com.
2. Personal data I collect
“Ask me” form. Your question, your first name and your email address. I use this data to reply to you and as inspiration for my content. I may cover the topic of your question in a video without identifying you. I will only quote your question word for word, or use your name, with your permission, which I will request by email.
Free guide sign-ups. Your first name, your email address and your consent to receive the guide and occasional emails from me. I use this data to send you the guide and those emails. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe page, which is linked in every email I send you, or by emailing hello@askjullian.com.
Emails. If you email me, I collect your name, your email address and the content of your message. I use this data only to respond to you.
Technical data. When you visit the site, my hosting provider, Bluehost, records technical information such as your IP address and browser type, in order to keep the site operating and secure.
Spam protection. Forms on this site use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish people from automated software. Google receives your IP address and certain browser information when it operates. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not allow you to create an account.
3. Lawful basis for processing
Under the UK GDPR, I process your personal data on the following bases. Consent: for free guide sign-ups, and when I ask your permission to quote you or use your name. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing me. Legitimate interests: for responding to your messages and questions, using the topics of questions as inspiration for content, operating and securing the site, and preventing spam.
4. How long I keep your data
Guide sign-up details are kept until you unsubscribe, and are then deleted. Questions and emails are kept for as long as necessary to respond to you or to use them as you have agreed, and are then deleted. Server logs are retained by my hosting provider for a short period.
5. Who I share your data with
I do not sell your personal data. It may be processed on my behalf by service providers that help run the site: Bluehost (hosting), IONOS (email) and Google (reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts). Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom, in which case they rely on appropriate safeguards. When you follow links to TikTok or Instagram, their own privacy policies apply.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, to request a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email me at hello@askjullian.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
